FAQStraight answers to the
questions we get most.
If yours is not here, call (469) 649-3413 and ask. You will get a real answer, not a sales script.
Working with us
What makes you different from other Dallas marketing companies?
Four things. All nine services are in-house and coordinated under one plan, so nothing falls through a vendor gap. The senior strategist you meet is the person doing the work. Every account — domain, hosting, ads, analytics, profile — is created in your name. And we only take DFW clients, which is why we can tell you how Addison behaves differently from Mesquite without looking it up.
What is the notice period if I want to stop?
Thirty days on any retainer once the onboarding period is complete. Fixed-scope project work such as a website or brand build runs to a delivery schedule instead, so those get finished rather than cancelled.
Who will I actually be talking to?
One senior strategist who owns your account. Specialists do the hands-on work in their discipline, but you have one person accountable for the whole result and one thread to reply to.
How fast do you respond?
Every message gets an answer within one business day, usually within a couple of hours during business hours. Anything urgent — a site down, an ad account suspended — gets handled immediately.
What do you need from us to get started?
Access to your existing accounts, an hour for the kickoff call, and a point of contact who can approve things. We handle the rest, including chasing down logins to accounts that were set up by a previous vendor.
Cost and value
How much should a Dallas business spend on marketing?
A common benchmark is 5–10% of revenue for established businesses and 10–20% for those in a growth push. More useful is working backward: what is a customer worth, what is your close rate, and how many do you need? That math produces a real budget instead of a percentage.
What is included in the retainer versus billed separately?
The retainer covers strategy, execution, reporting and the tools we run. Advertising budget goes directly to the platforms on your billing. Project work — a website, a brand build, a custom automation — is quoted separately.
Do you offer a free audit?
Yes, and there are no strings on it. We review your rankings, site health, Google Business Profile and ad account, then send a written breakdown. If you take it to another agency, that is genuinely fine.
What if it does not work?
You cancel with 30 days’ notice and keep everything — site, content, accounts, data. We would also rather tell you in month two that a channel is not going to work for your business than keep billing you for it.
SEO and rankings
How long does SEO take?
Technical fixes can move things in 30–60 days. Local and long-tail rankings typically land in 3–4 months. Competitive DFW head terms realistically take 6–12 months of consistent work.
Can you guarantee first page rankings?
No, and nobody honest can. Search engines do not sell rankings and they change their systems constantly. We guarantee the work and the transparency around it, not a position.
Why did my rankings drop?
Usually one of four things: a core algorithm update, a competitor who invested more than you did, a technical change on your own site, or content decay on pages that used to be current. An audit tells you which one within a week.
Do I need SEO if I am already running ads?
Ads stop the day you stop paying. SEO is the asset that keeps producing, and it lowers your blended cost per acquisition over time. The businesses in the best position run both and shift budget between them as each matures.
AI search
Should I care about being cited by ChatGPT?
If your buyers research before they call, yes. A meaningful share of consideration-stage research now happens inside AI assistants where there is no results page to rank on — you are either named in the answer or you are not in the conversation.
Is AI going to kill SEO?
It is changing which clicks exist, not whether visibility matters. Informational queries lose clicks to AI summaries. Commercial and local intent queries still convert. And AI models pull from the same index, so the underlying work — authority, structure, accuracy — matters more, not less.
Websites and ownership
Who owns my website?
You do, completely. Domain, hosting, files, content and design. We can host and maintain it, but you can move it anywhere at any time and nothing gets held back.
Will a new website hurt my rankings?
Not when the migration is handled properly — full URL mapping, 301 redirects, preserved content and a resubmitted sitemap. In practice a well-executed rebuild usually improves rankings because the site finally loads fast and is structured correctly.
Can you work on the website we already have?
Often yes. If it is fundamentally sound we optimize what is there. If it is a slow page-builder site fighting you on every change, we will tell you honestly that a rebuild will cost less over two years than working around it.
