Branding & Identity Design
Positioning, naming, logo systems and the message hierarchy that makes every ad, page and post pull in the same direction.
What’s included
Every branding & identity engagement covers these as standard.
- Positioning and messaging
- Logo and identity system
- Brand guidelines document
- Print, signage and vehicle assets
A brand is the reason they pick you.
A brand is not a logo. It is the specific reason someone picks you when three competitors offer roughly the same thing at roughly the same price. If you cannot say that reason in one sentence, neither can your customers.
We start with positioning, because everything downstream depends on it. Who exactly are you for, what do you do better than the alternatives, and what do you want to be known for that no one else is claiming? That work produces a message hierarchy: the one-line promise, the three supporting proofs, and the language your team uses everywhere.
Then we build the system that carries it — a logo that works at fifteen pixels and on a truck door, a type and color system with real contrast rules, and guidelines so the next person who touches your marketing does not quietly reinvent the whole thing.
Brand work usually becomes urgent when one of these is true:
What the brand system contains.
Strategy, marks, rules and the files to use them — assembled so nothing drifts later.
Positioning & messaging
The promise, the proof points, the differentiators and the words — documented so everyone uses the same ones.
Logo & identity system
Primary, secondary and icon marks, plus clear-space and minimum-size rules that keep it usable everywhere.
Color, type & imagery
A palette with accessible contrast, a type scale that holds up on screens, and photo direction that is not stock filler.
Brand guidelines document
A practical reference any designer, printer or employee can follow without calling you.
Collateral & templates
Business cards, proposals, presentation decks, email signatures and social templates built from the system.
Signage, print & vehicle assets
Print-ready files for yard signs, wraps, storefront signage and anything else that puts the mark in the physical world.
From positioning to rollout.
Strategy is settled before anyone opens a design file. That order is what keeps the result defensible.
Discovery & audit
Interviews with your team, a hard look at your competitors’ positioning, and an honest assessment of the gap you can credibly own.
Positioning & message
The strategic layer. We land the promise and the proof before anyone opens a design file.
Identity design
Two or three genuine directions, not a gallery of fifty. We refine the one you choose until it holds up everywhere.
System & rollout
Guidelines, templates, file handoff and a sequenced plan for rolling the new identity across web, print and signage.
Branding & Identity FAQ
Do I really need a rebrand, or just a new logo?
Often just a refresh — tightened mark, better type, a real color system and clear guidelines. A full rebrand makes sense when the positioning itself is wrong or the name no longer fits what you sell. We will tell you which one you are looking at before quoting either.
What files do I get?
Full vector source files (AI, SVG, EPS), raster exports at every size, print-ready CMYK versions and a written guidelines document. All of it yours, no licensing strings.
How long does a brand project take?
An identity refresh is typically 3–4 weeks. Full positioning plus identity plus collateral runs 6–10 weeks depending on how many stakeholders need to weigh in.
Can you match the brand to a new website?
That is the ideal sequence — brand first, then web design built directly from the system. Doing both together usually costs less than doing them separately six months apart.
Where the brand goes to work.
Identity is only worth what it earns once it is in market.
Start with the positioning, not the logo.
Book a call and we will pressure-test what you currently claim against what your three closest competitors claim. If the answers overlap, that is the problem worth fixing first.
